We drove to Swan Lake Nature Reserve and walked the floating bridge and back up to the Nature House.

Then it was off to Sidney, BC, to find a hotdog stand. No joy there.

Highland Pacific in View Royal filled the bill with lunch of fish&chips, coffee and smiles from Erica.

We were home by 1;30p.m.

It was a fun-filled morning in the Honda.

Friday we walked 2200m roundtrip from Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary along the designated trail to Christmas Hill Park and return. We were going to do the loop but changed our mind.

Today we walked for an hour around Swan Lake within the Swan Lake/Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary.

Today we walked 3km around Swan Lake in Saanich.

Yes, we have pictures-to-prove-it. Swan Lake-Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary Society has made many improvements to the trails and trail-decking.

The decking is germain to traversing the trail in spots due to its close proximity to the lake.
