Walked Selkirk flew to Tofino CYAZ
We walked Selkirk Trestle from Tyee Rd under sunny skies.
It was a balmy 12°C (56°F)
We drove Dallas Rd and home for lunch at 12;30
SharBen surprised us with a visit to drop off a piece of homemade 30th anniversary cake. We ate it as soon as we got it to our home.
I flew the new Mooney Ovation from Boundary Bay to Tofino in VFR under marginal conditions.

Cycled Flight Path and Toured Air Museum
Tuesday morning I cycled the 9.4km Flightpath around Victoria Intl. Airport. This is an excellent cardio-exercise bike ride. It feels more like ten miles that ten kilometres.
Afterward, I toured the BC Air Museum with my friend, Dan Waldie as my guide. Every time I go there I see and learn things which were missed during previous visits.
Thanks for the grand tour, Dan.

Honeywell Globalstar 2100
During the past few days we've enjoyed lunch at Four Mile Pub on Friday and dinner at friends Monday.
It seems I'm spending an inordinate amount of time learning to program the Flight Management Computer (FMC) in my Boeing Tripple-7. It's pretty much required for most flights as this B777-300 aircraft is definitely fly-by-wire. I enjoy learning new skills and programming a Honeywell Globalstar 2100 (or Matrix), for certain takes skill -- and lots of it.
P.S. A skilled observer can see the FMC is set to fly from NZNV to NZAA (Invergargill, NZ to Auckland)
Tonight we go to Fireside with friends for dinner.
