Walked to Market plus Saanich News

Today we walked to the market and back -- lots of fun

We like what Tom Fletcher writes; especially, when it involves anthropogenic climate change. We've written Fletcher before to express our appreciation for his slant in denying the climate-cultists their free reign on this subject.

Without belaboring the point, let me simply state there's enough reliable, truthful, scientific knowledge available for anyone seeking the truth about climate change -- natural or anthropogenic.

If readers complain about what Fletcher writes in Saanich News, simply ask if they have read: Heaven and Earth, global warming, the missing science, by Dr. Ian Plimer; Bjorn Lomborg's: 'Cool It: The Skeptical Environmentalist's Guide to Global Warming' or Alex Epstein's: 'The Moral Case for Fossil Fuel'. And also direct their attention to Dr. Patrick Moore's many YouTube lectures.

Anyone who still believes in Al Gore's wanton misinformation (which never came true in 2016 -- ten years after his release of An Inconvenient Truth in 2006), is also wantonly ignorant of the many scientific facts to disprove climate change is linked to human activity.

Pro Pat's to Fantastico Walk

Friday we walked 4km roundtrip along the Galloping Goose Regional Trail (GGT) beside the Selkirk Waters' section from Pro Patria Legion to Fantastico Coffee at Dockside Green.

A perfect Victoria morning for any outdoor activities at a balmy 9°C (48°F).

We had coffee at Ryan's store (Fantastico Coffee, our daughter'n'law's brother's business(es).

Then we had lunch at the legion upon our return to our limo. We met our old acquaintance, Ian, from our years at The Club and the Saltire Society. Like us, he's moved on from that phase of his life and is looking really good in his old age.

Whiney, little B*#ches (Bill Maher's line, not mine)

Monday morning we walked up through UVic and returned the same route after making a loop through Finnerty Gardens. What a beautiful, sunny, fall day.

Many Americans, and, indeed, others, have been wondering how President-elect, Donald J. Trump, came to be in that position. Read below a couple of clips from Breitbart News. Mr. Trump also named former Breitbart CEO Steve Brannon as Senior Advisor (SA) to the President. Hopefully this will put an end to all the hyperbole spewing out the Obama white-house regarding anthropogenic global warming and unfettered immigration (not necessarily in that order).

Record Global Cooling Over The Last Eight Months Posted on November 13, 2016 by tonyheller Over the last eight months, global temperatures over land have cooled a record 1.2 C. November is seeing record cold in Russia and South Australia, so we should see the record cooling trend continue.

Earlier today we showed that, contrary to USA Today's claims that the anti-Trump protests across the nation are "spontaneous, involving people from all walks of life", according to Wikileaks documents at least two of the people profiled by USA Today have a history of being professional agitators for the Democratic party, whose task is to stir up popular protests and - in extreme cases - unleash rioting, such as the following clip showing the latest day of violent protests in Portland revealed.

Walked Cedar Hill

ClubhouseThursday we walked around Cedar Hill Golf Course after recovering from the colds and flu-like symptoms that have kept us off the trail for some weeks.

We had lunch at MexiGo; Enchilada and salad. It's sure good food at MexiGo.

While in the Broadmead shopping Centre we watch the workers finish off the felling of a large tree located in the parking lot.

That's about all the excitement we could take for one day.
