Ten Bravehearts to Marigold Cafe 10/17/26
Saturday, October 17th Grant led us along Lochside Trail o Marigold Cafe in Central Saanich.
Ten Bravehearts made the journey that much more enjoyable for most.
Bill had an interesting encounter with a young woman vacationing from Calgary
She and Bill talked about flying from some 15-minutes.
She is taking a Flying Course and has logged 250hrs so far.
Currently, she's completing her Multi-Engine Endorsement.

Honda 107km roundtrip to Boneyard Main
Sunday I drove the Honda 107km roundtrip to Boneyard Main locked gate at the 11km location along that eponymous road.
The road is rougher than a bear's butt though the vehicle made it in and out.
Since Mosaic Forests management opened Butler Main to the public October 1st the place has been inundated with users
Once at Boneyard Lake, I was wishing I had brought my DJImini2 drone along
The lake was like a mirror under sunny skies
The good news is I made it to the locked gate at the 11km marker and have applied to Mosaic for a key

Bravehearts Wednesday Jordie Lunn Bike Park 10/7/26

BH Wednesday Jordie Lunn Bike Park 10/7/26
Wednesday Oct. 7 Graant led Don and Bill on an interesting ride to Jordie Lunn Bike Park in Langford, BC.
Grant has quite a repertoire of cycling trails none of which can be described as boring.
Once in Langford, Grant led us directly along the Galloping Goose Trail to the 18km marker. (no E&N outbound)
This put the riders past Glen Lake and onto Glen Lake Rd heading past Langford's City Centre Park then up-and-over to West Shore Parkway.
From Parkway it's onto Meridian Ave to 2990 Irwin Rd.
Inbound, Grant included a scenic loop around Langford Lake and back to the E&N Rail Trail through downtown Langford.
Just another great ride with Bravehearts Cycling Group Thanks Grant.
